Act of Solidarity with Catalonia
On April 1st throughout the Catalan countries, there will be widespread demonstrations by the Catalan people against the Spanish Administrations 'Estatut d’Autonomia of Catalonia'.
Estatut is a policy designed by the Spanish State and supportive liberal Catalan politicians that will further tie both politically and economically the Catalan nation to Spain for at least another 25 years.
In a gesture of solidarity the Catalan Solidarity: Ireland Committee will hold a picket at Free Derry Corner to hightlight the continuing struggle against Estatut and for self-determination.
(Also an information stall will be held following this event, at Magazine Gate in the city centre).
Everyone is welcome to obtain further information on this a other issues relating to the freedom and independence of Catalonia.

A: because they're "liberals" with polled support of over 82% of the population.
wow. Well it just goes to show. The spanish state get up to all sort of things, they even designed the eta ceasefire as well, but thats only natural, they designed the eta campaign too.

I am sorry about my terribal irish i am catalan but i studi your languaj. i wanted to thank this website for your soport to the catalan cause and tel you incase you dident now that not that long ago there was a manifestation in barcelona for catalan independence were thei was 1 milion person my grup was there and tell you that in 15 years we wil be a separat countri i is just a mater of tim, once again thanks for the soport we neadet:
