Dunclug residents are questioning the motives and the veracity of IMC sources in their community and contrary to the published report they attribute violent attacks and robberies to “cohorts of North Antrim Sinn Fein and inter loyalist rivalry in Ballymena”.

One local man, who asked not to be identified described today’s (early morning) petrol bomb attack in the Dunclug area at the home and car of his protestant neighbour as “sectarian and sinister”. The petrol bomb attack occurred at about 1am.
