One of Catalonia’s most popular singer song writers has taken up the opportunity to perform live in Derry during this year’s Gasyard Féile. Feliu Ventura will be on stage during the 629 Sessions at Masons Bar of Friday 27th July and at The Craft Village on Saturday 28th July along with a number of other local artists.
Feliu, who prides himself as a Catalan song writer, has been in the acoustic music scene for over 10 years. He fuses his social compromise with the poetry of his feelings. He presents his songs as a tool of communication, expression and information to invite and to open up alternative ways for social change.
With dates in both Belfast and Dublin he is overwhelmed to be giving the opportunity to take part in the celebrations across the city during a series of Féile events which are designed to give an insight into Catalonia, as this will be his first visit to Ireland.
If you would like to get a taste of what Feliu has to offer, you can visit his website on: http://www.myspace.com/feliuventura or better still hear him perform live during this year ‘Roots’ Féile.
