Vigil in Solidarity with Shell-to-Sea at 4pm

MAOR Derry is holding a solidarity vigil on Friday, 9th November, at 4pm in Market Street in Derry (between Richmond Centre and Foyleside Centre) to mark the 12th anniversary of the State execution of the Ogoni Nine in Nigeria, who were high profile opponents of Shell's environmental destruction in their country.

The vigil also marks the first anniversary of the baton-charge of peaceful demonstrators in Mayo.
