Sichuan earthquake appeal

The recent Earthquake in the Sichuan Province of China has had a devastating effect in China and World-wide. This Disaster has caused more than 50,000 feared dead, about 10 million people directly affected and 5 million homeless. The Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Ireland is now making an appeal to all the colleges in Ireland to collect donations to help the victims.

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Ireland is now taking steps to raise awareness of the suffering caused by this Tragedy. We are making an appeal to all the colleges in Ireland to collect donations to help the victims.

On Sunday 25th May, from 7:30pm for one hour, ‘IRISH CHINESE SICHUAN EARTHQUAKE APPEAL COMMITTEE’ will be holding a ‘Candle-lit Vigil’ and prayers in Smithfield Square, Dublin 7.

Irrespective of race, color, religion, politics or culture, please show your generosity now and help those victims, especially the children. No matter how much you can donate, we believe every little helps! Your donation means a lot to them; your generosity towards this worthy APPEAL is greatly appreciated.

All Funds will be sent directly to the Red Cross of China.
