For the second year running, the city of Belfast will have the honour to host the Anti-Racism soccer World Cup between August 1 and August 3.
Timed to coincide with the opening of west Belfast's hugely successful Féile an Phobail, the Anti-Racism World Cup is intended as a show case of solidarity between people of all nationalities and a demonstration against discrimination and division.
Friday 1st August
12-2pm - Registration
Venue: Donegal Celtic Football Club, Suffolk Road, Belfast
Information on the tournament and getting to know the teams
2.00pm - Political Tour of Belfast
Departs Donegal Celtic.
Take a political tour of Belfast learning how the conflict has shaped and changed the communities involved
4.00pm - Welcome meeting at Donegal Celtic
Including buffet and information stalls by international and domestic Anti-Racism / Anti-Fascism groups.
9.00pm - Entertainment
Donegal Celtic clubrooms
Italian ska band The Offenders followed by excellent German Anti-Fascist DJ Conehead.
Saturday 2nd August
10.30am-4pm - Anti-Racism World Cup 2008
Donegal Celtic Playing Pitches
16 teams from around the world compete for the Anti-Racism World Cup 2008! Including a pitch-side international fair.
7.00pm - The Civil Rights Movement: A Turning Point in Irish History
Roddy McCorley Club, Glen Road
Discussion with Bernadette McAliskey, a leading member of the Civil Rights Movement.
9.00pm-late - Ceol agus Craic
Music and entertainment at the Roddy McCorley Club.

1.00pm - Festival parade and Trophy presentation, and 'Party in the Park'
March in the West Belfast Féile parade as an anti-racist contingent and enjoy the craic at the opening ceremony of Féile an Phobail.
