Should a Right-wing, reforming government gain power at the next election, it will face the full resistance of the Blob. The 2023 ousting of Dominic Raab is instructive in how this will run, says Dr David McGrogan.

Ógra Shinn Féin National Organiser Barry McColgan has urged young republicans to mobilise for the annual Hunger Strike march, on Sunday 17th August and which is due to be held in Derry for the first time in 27 years.

Republican youth from throughout Ireland, will form up at Bishop’s Field Green, Creggan Shops, from 2pm on the day of the march.

Urging young republicans to mobilise for this major event, which will be attended by thousands of people from all over Ireland, McColgan said,

"The Hunger Strike was a catalyst in the struggle for freedom and it is fitting that 'The Struggle Continues' has been adopted as the theme of this year’s National Hunger Strike Commemoration.”

"The 1981 Hunger Strike is this young generation’s 1916, and it should be commemorated in the same manner. The Hunger Strike for many marked a changing point in the struggle for freedom.”

“From 1981 the Irish republican struggle emerged stronger and showed to the world that republicans would face down any attempts by the British to label the struggle for national liberation as criminal.”

“In addition to our participation in the march there will also be a national republican youth weekend of events in Derry. The weekend will include public talks, historical tours, a mural launch, and craic agus ceol.”

“I am asking young republicans to march alongside Ógra Shinn Féin at the national rally in Derry on the 17th August, to mobilise and honour the memory of our 10 brave martyrs, demonstrating in number’s that the struggle continues!”

I I, IRA! I, I, IRA!" shouted the youths as the bandsmen belted out republican tunes around the anti-internment bonfire in Ballymena. "We're here to defy the Brits, the cops and Sinn Féin," said a woman, as the flames lit up the sky on the nationalist Dunclug estate.

"Loyalists have band parades in this town every weekend in summer but we're not meant to have one bonfire a year to commemorate the wrongful imprisonment of innocent men. We're second-class citizens," said another .

"Sinn Féin shouldn't have tried to stop this bonfire," said a 28-year-old man. "They said it was organised by thugs and hoods. Did it just stop being republican when Sinn Féin stopped organising it and others gained control?"

provo recruitment advertisement posters and union jacks topped the blazing pile.

do not suppport pro british provo commemorations there is a Republican organised H block comm on the 30th in Bundoran that Republicans will support instead.
