Seanua is a multicultural project based in the West of Ireland, featuring musicians from around thirty countries in the World.
We have spent a good number of months recording and mastering this top quality album that honours both your senses and the power of cultures linking their roots to grow their souls through music.
Cross genre fusion, from Early Christian Celtic music, to Indian ensemble, to Reggae, to Opera, African, Irish Harps and haunting experimental mixtures among others. This album has members from Ireland, Sweden, Zimbabwe, Australia, India, England, Russia, Nigeria and more!
Senua initially emerged from a research into newly arrived cultures and their integration into Galway City. Senua was featured in TG4 (Irish TV) and an album was released in 2007 with the name Sean agus Nua (Old and New in the Irish language).
This is the second album recorded by this non-profit community organisation as different musicians have intermingled and established themselves in this land of musical genius.
