Here is a copy of a leaflet a Socialist Youth distributed to highlight the use of Belfast International Airport (Aldergrove) by US military 'rendition' flights.

Leaflets were handed to every one entering the airport, sometimes there was a small queue of traffic to get the leaflets. Most people were supportive of our protest. Hopefully, this will help to expose the state collusion in assisting torture flights. read full story / add a comment

The punk band Zounds sang 'subvert, subvert' about anarchists/working class people infiltrating the middle class domain of work, to change and subvert it.

MI5/6/Special branch have been doing the same in reverse for decades, placing operatives within working class communities and trade unions in order to destroy and subvert whole communities and organisations.

Many of these operatives like Denis Donaldson etc, have blended into and become established within working class commuities for many decades. read full story / add a comment

A large crowd turned out in Belfast city centre today for the May Day parade. I'm no good at calculating numbers so I'll just let the photos speak for themselves.

If anyone feels the need to use any of the photos from the parade, could you please credit me with taking them? Either that or you could give me a couple of quid; I don't mind either way. read full story / add a comment

Members of the Vol. James Sheridan Ogra Shinn Fein Cumann in Jordanstown University recently toured the site of Long Kesh outside Lisburn.
The cumann were privlidged to be accompanied on the tour by South Derry Republican, Paul McGlinchey who was incarcirated in both the cages and the H-Blocks during the 1970's and 80's. Pauls personal accounts and recollections on the republican history of the prison gave the cumann members a more indepth and real sense of the struggle fought by republican soldiers especially during the time of the no wash protest and the hungerstrike. read full story / add a comment

Holyland residents can let out a sigh of relief, as St Patricks day, passed by. Most families evacuated their children out of the Holylands in an effort to preserve the magic of St Patricks day, but those that remained again had to endure the depraved behaviour of our future professionals, middle classes and SDLP voters.

Only 1.2% of the student population is from a poor or working class background, you've only to look at the top range model cars the students of the Holylands drive, to see they're all from money backgrounds, with the bad manners and disassociated aloofness of the snooty rich. read full story / add a comment
