<P>Raise the Roof coalition is organising a National Rally on Sat 18th May 2019 at 1.00pm in Parnell Square, Dublin 1.</P><P><strong>Our demands are as follows</strong>:<br />
<ul><br />
<li> A major Local Authority led investment in public housing</li><br />
<li> The building of affordable homes</li><br />
<li> The cessation of evictions into homelessness</li><br />
<li> The creation of a legal right to housing</li><br />
<li> Security of Tenure and Rent Control for Renters</li><br />
</ul><br />
<br />
<p>These measures are being vehemently opposed by the current government with the tacit support of some Independents and Fianna Fáil.</p><br />
