Anyone questioning the imposition of 15-minute cities is stupid and dangerous, say the mainstream media, shutting down debate ? the latest extreme agenda where criticism is dismissed as 'conspiracy theories'.

The Casey Review concludes there is ?institutional racism? in the Met. Yet according to news reports from the last few years, almost every major British institution is "institutionally racist", as well as the UK itself.

In a recent piece in the Conversation, a professor of climate change says we have to achieve Net Zero by 2035 to save the planet and can only do that by nationalising everything. Is Net Zero socialism by the back door?

Cancel culture is definitely real, as we have seen with the recent cancellation of comedian Alfie Brown. Finding out that the BBC is not renewing your show for a seventh series, however, probably doesn't count.

Peoples Movement - two protests - Friday 7th March Dublin

category dublin | eu | event notice author Friday February 28, 2014 19:20author by Gary Boyne - The People's Movement Report this post to the editors

Enda Kenny has invited his political allies to Dublin - Let’s “Welcome” them

Big EU Political Meeting Friday 7th March IN DUBLIN city

Friday 7th March The first protest will commence at 9:00 and end at 10:00. We will assemble at the Custom House at 8:45.

Friday 7th March The second protest will commence at 13:00 and end at 2:00. We will assemble at 12:45 at the Custom House.
Protest Against Austerity and Militarisation
Protest Against Austerity and Militarisation

The political grouping Fine Gael sits with in the European Parliament in Strasbourg calls itself the “European People’s Party”
The EPP are holding a congress in Dublin early next month.

The venue is the Convention Centre in North Wall Quay

Among the delegates to Dublin will be German Chancellor Angela Merkel as well as the president of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and the president of the European Council Herman van Rompuy

The EPP is driving the agenda of austerity and militarisation in the EU, and this is an opportunity to let them know how we feel about their policies.

The Peoples Movement will be holding two protests at the EPP get-together on the twin themes of EU austerity and EU militarisation. The political congress, which will be attended by Merkel, Barroso, van Rompuy etc. is to select a candidate for the position of President of the EU Commission. Over 2,000 delegates are expected to attend.

Friday 7th March The first protest will commence at 9:00 and end at 10:00. We will assemble at the Custom House at 8:45. During this period, delegates will be arriving for the plenary session that will select a candidate.

Friday 7th March The second protest will commence at 13:00 and end at 2:00. We will assemble at 12:45 at the Custom House. During this period, the result of the election will be announced; there will be a press conference etc.

It is important that the international media do not think that all Irish people relish EU austerity or that we are not aware of the rush to militarise the EU. So please try to support one or both of these protests.

100 issues and still going strong!
Friday evening on the 7th March at 6:00 the Peoples Movement will have a get-together at 6:00 upstairs in the Palace Bar in Fleet St (Westmoreland St end of Temple Bar) to mark the 100th edition of the Peoples News. There will be hard copies available and some CDs with the complete run!

Little did we think when we first published People’s News in June 2004 that it would reach a hundred issues and still be going strong!

So, to celebrate the hundredth issue, why not drop in to the Palace Bar in Fleet Street, Dublin (near the corner of Westmoreland Street), on Friday 7th March for a pint or coffee and a chat.

It’s a chance to make new acquaintances and to renew old ones. We’ll be upstairs from 6 p. m.

I have been granted section 26 leave however upon seeking permission to attend the austerity protest the doctor Frank Kelly placed a condition that the protest would be too stimulating even though the legal framework is there and already signed by the aforementioned consultant psychiatrist who is now backtracking and acting paternalistically on his day off!

I have an appeal against my year long detention at kilkenny district court on march 25th

apologies for not attending i really could not sneak away. I do not believe i need mainstream psychiatric drugs, instead i take high power broad spectrum micronutrients which benefit me immensly
