A storm is brewing
The battle of Vinegar hill although a bloody defeat for the Irish rebels, planted a flag for freedom and lit a fire within the true hearts of Éireann which has never been quenched. As well as planting a flag for freedom it also gave the two fingers to the mighty globalist british empire. Despite being armed mostly with pikes the Irish rebels gave the best trained army in the world at that time a run for their money. It showed the brittish empire that despite having the latest of artillery and lines of drilled redcoats Irish patriots would not submit out of fear for their lives. "Liberty or death" was one of the slogans used by the rebels. A steadfast commitment to freedom is needed more now than ever and we have some of the greatest patriots from our past to draw inspiration from. Let those behind the errosion of our freedom know that they will have to kill us before we submit to them. |
