Many studies have documented ?learning loss? under lockdown. But what about intelligence itself ? did that decline too? Yes, a new study finds that German children's intelligence test scores fell considerably.

Enid Blyton is the latest children's author whose work has been 'modernised' by tin-eared sensitivity readers. Who knew unexpurgated Noddy could be so subversive?

offsite link Clarkson Mocks the Idea That the BBC Is Tory Sun Mar 19, 2023 15:00 | Nick Dixon
Jeremy Clarkson has poured scorn on the idea that the BBC is a Tory stronghold. Apparently he even had to leave his copy of the Spectator outside the Radio 5 Live offices, as it was deemed ?extremist material?.

Shell heads at Bilderberg meeting in Greece last month

category international | summit mobilisations | opinion/analysis author Wednesday June 24, 2009 16:20author by john Report this post to the editors

Published on several internet sites and this months Phoenix are reports of Shell executives present at this meeting of white global elite types between 14th and 16th May.

Their names are John Kerr, former British ambassador to US and deputy chairman of Shell UK, also Jeroen Van der Veer, CEO Netherlands.

Also present at this meeting were Irishman Dermot Gleeson who is or has been involved with Independent News Media, has recently resigned as Chairman of AIB and is chairman of UCC governing body since 2007 and another Irishman Peter Sutherland who is worth looking at on Wikipedia as someone who has his fingers in a lot of pies.

A Guardian journalist, Charlie Skelton attempting to report on events was seriously followed and harassed over several days.

A lot of the left in Ireland are allergic to this sort of thing, calling it conspiracy theory, and from trawling over the internet the subject attracts a lot of insanity but knowing what I know of the dynamics of power it appears pretty certain that these types of groups do exist, Bilderberg, Trilateral Commission etc, that these meetings do happen and that, like another layer of power behind or interlocking with the G8, the WTO and the IMF, the decisions made at them affect our lives and as a result we should pay them some attention. Perhaps doing more research into the links these powerful men ( they are nearly all men) have into our lives and making that info more available would be a good start.

Perhaps taking our issues to them personally as another option to banging our heads against Shell, IRMS and the Gardai in places like Erris.

Understanding the mechanisms and structures of power so we can dismantle it

These guys are so removed from the effects of their decisions they need to be made very uncomfortable.
They'll be meeting next year somewhere too....
