On 18 November 2021, US Representatives, Peter A. DeFazio (R-Oregon), Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) and Jamaal Bowman (D-New York), wrote to President Joe Biden asking him to specify on which constitutional basis he was bobming Syria and Iraq. At the end of the two-month regulatory deadline, the White House has still not responded to them. The military actions perpetrated by the United States against these two countries are, therefore, not only violating their sovereignty, but also the US (...)

Polling institute director, Douglas E. Schoen, published a column in the Wall Street Journal conjecturing about Hillary Clinton's return on the political scene [1]. The idea is that 79-year-old President Joe Biden, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, will not be able to run again and that his vice-president, Kamala Harris, has no chance of winning, and neither would Sen. Bernie Sanders (80, heart disease) or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (81). The way is therefore open for the wife of (...)

UK Defense Minister Ben Wallace declared before the House of Commons, 17 January 2022, that: "many countries have joined the Alliance not because NATO is making them do so ? but because of the freely expressed will of the governments and peoples of those countries. Countries choose NATO; NATO does not choose them." In the first place, he is confusing form with substance. Some people were indeed opposed to joining NATO. However, institutions were manipulated so as to create the illusion of a (...)

The US Joint Chiefs of Staff have posted online a conference featuring military historian David B. Crist, which took place on 18 September 2020. Therein, the expert reveals a nuclear war plan drawn up by the Pentagon in the 1980s. At the time, the United States was convinced that not content with having deployed its troops in Afghanistan at the request of the autochthonous Communist government, the Soviet Union was getting ready to invade the Iranian monarchy in order to seize the oil (...)

The Islamic Republic of Iran has just reopened its office at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). For several years, Iran and Saudi Arabia have mutually anathematized each other, thus dividing the Middle East into two camps, Shiite and Sunni. But this has not always been the case, notwithstading the historical roots of the antagonism between the two Muslim denominations. Thus, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Iranian Pasdarans (and members (...)

Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy committee of the Iranian parliament, said in a tweet on 15 January 2022: "#Important_Relations between #Iran and #Saudi Arabia are being revived and #Embassies are preparing to reopen. This will have an important impact on easing regional tensions and boosting the unity of the #Islamic world. Stupidity of #Extremists?. Tehran and Riyadh have been holding talks for four months through the heads of their secret (...)

During the whole week, Moscow has been waiting for an answer to its proposal for a Treaty guaranteeing peace. Washington has never mentioned it. On the contrary, it has accused Russia of preparing to attack Ukraine and of planning a false flag operation to justify it. Russia can no longer back down, but any action on its part risks opening a third world conflict.

On 15 January 2022, Israel's Channel 12 News reported that a secret agreement to supply natural gas to energy-starved Lebanon had been signed between the Israeli and Lebanese governments. This may enable Lebanon to come out, at least partially, of its critical electricity crisis. Negotiations between Israel and Lebanon relating to hydrocarbon reserves in the Mediterranean are being conducted by US Special Envoy for Energy Affairs Amos Hochstein. The Channel 12 allegations were promptly (...)

On 10 January 2022, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) decided to close land and air borders between member-countries and Mali and to freeze assets of the Republic of Mali in ECOWAS Central Banks, as sanctions in response to the announcement by the transitional authorities to postpone the presidential election to the end of 2026. Mali responded by closing its borders to all countries that support the sanctions announced by ECOWAS, with the exception of Guinea. ? France (...)

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed a new Prime Minister and government. Eleven ministers out of twenty retain their functions. Nine are new. What caused a stir was the ascension of former deputy information minister to the post of a fully-fledged minister. Pro-Turk Askar Umarov (pictured) is known for his anti-Russian statements, employing terms like ?alcoholics? and ?colonizers?. The Russian press is outraged by this appointment which comes on the heels of the CSTO mission to (...)
