Simplistic linear thinking by Rachel from Accounts and the Treasury spawned this Budget from hell, says David Craig. A systems thinker would have known it would send the economy into a doom loop of recession and decline.

‘Staged and scripted’: Mother Agnes finalizes chronology of Damascus chemical attack

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Saturday September 28, 2013 14:13author by Turing Report this post to the editors

Mother Agnes continues her investigations into the fake viseos. Full text at link.

A new version of a study produced by Mother Agnes, a catholic nun, pointing to a number of fabricated videos used as evidence of complicity by the Assad government in a recent chemical attack is in the works, she told RT. The report by the Christian nun, Mother Agnes Mariam el-Salib, mother superior of St. James Monastery in Qara, Syria, has alleged that many videos featuring supposed victims of the chemical weapons attack in the Syrian village of Guta in August were in fact staged and scripted. The question for the nun now revolves around the “humanitarian” question of what happened to the children featured in the video. “Those children are the children of whom? From where did you get them? Why are you using them and manipulating them?”

RT: What exactly led you to the conclusion that the videos of the chemical attack were fabricated?

Mother Agnes Mariam el-Salib: I have been contacted by families from the province of Lattakia. They alleged that they discovered victims, the children that are presented as victims of the chemical attacks in Eastern Ghouta, would be their own children. They had asked me to interfere, so I had to study a little bit of those videos to see where those children are carried, because in some videos they are alive and in some videos they seem not to be alive.

I came to identify in many videos real staging, real screen playing and today after having redacted a study concerning my first impression, I called it a better version.

Today I’m just finishing the chronology of those videos and of the action they are unveiling to the public opinion. I’m more and more convinced that it is not the coverage of an ongoing reality , the ongoing emergency of chemical strikes, but a kind of screen playing with a script that has been worked on many days before.

The work of Sister Agnes in documenting the fabrications around the chemical attack by the rebels and highlighted previously in this comment here: http://www.indymedia.ie/article/103997?#comment297176 may have prevented further atrocities being carried out by the so-called rebels backed by a collection of barbaric Middle East and Gulf states and the key Western powers of France, UK and USA because her work was very important in rapidly and correctly casting doubt on the nature of the chemical attack, it's scale and most importantly who did it.

Had people like her and many others not been on the ground and carrying out the type of work she did, then certainly the operation to deceive Western public opinion may have worked and at this stage Syria could be in the depths of a massive "humanitarian" bombing campaign which would have killed thousands, damaged critical infrastructure like water works and sewage plants, electric grid, power plants the result of which would have led to even more deaths and pushing the country back to the Stone Age.

A recent Pew survey found that fifteen percent of adults still don't use the Internet, primarily because it's "not relevant to them or it's too difficult to use. " Despite this ,the Western media's adherence to the US government line about "all the evidence pointing to the Syrian government responsibility for the chemical attacks" is being increasingly challenged through the internet .

The Washington Post's interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov published September 25 indicates that sections of the media may be facing up to the reality that they are just not being believed anymore . If it's the case that John Kerry and Obama are part of Pew's 15% , Lavrov was able to point out the evidence compiled by Mother Agnes to Kerry when the two met shortly before the Washington Post interview took place :

Question: Russia is still saying that it was the rebels that fired the chemical weapons on August 21st – not the Assad regime?
Sergey Lavrov:Yes, we believe that there is very good evidence to substantiate this.

Question:Are you willing to present this evidence?

Sergey Lavrov:Yes, I just presented a compilation of evidence to John Kerry when we met a couple of hours ago. This evidence is not something revolutionary, it’s available throughout the Internet – the reports by the journalists who visited the sites, who talked to the combatants, combatants telling the journalists that they were given some unusual rockets and munition by some foreign country and they didn’t know how to use them. You have also the evidence from the nuns serving in a monastery nearby who visited the site. You can read the evidence and the assessments by the chemical weapons experts who say that the images shown do not correspond to a real situation if chemical weapons were used. And we also know about an open letter sent to President Obama by former operatives of the CIA and the Pentagon saying that the assertion that (Syrian) the government that used the chemical weapons was a fake. So you don’t need to have any spy reports to make your own conclusions. You only need to carefully watch what is available in public. And analyze it, of course.
