Our next public talk takes place on Saturday 26th April at 4.30pm in the Cobblestone, Smithfield and will mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of Cumann na mBan in April 1914. Cumann na mBan was founded in Wynn’s Hotel, Abbey Street, on 2nd April 1914. At that meeting, attended by approximately 100 women, it approved its Constitution; its stated aims being: |
