No Free Speech in Ireland.....say Non Irony Aware Fascists

category international | miscellaneous | press release author Friday November 21, 2003 12:16author by Janus Report this post to the editors

BNP attack anti-Fascists protestors for opposing free speech without any appreciation of the irony of a party dedicated to ending free speech makng such a charge.

Everybody's favourite far right bunch of racist extremists have slammed the withdrawl of an invitation to Tony Wentwoth to speak at Trinity blaming "Trinity Socialist Party, Socialist Workers Party and their allies in Sinn Fein, who told the University that they were to hold a protest upon Tony Wentworth’s arrival."

They also point out that an Irish MP (sic) was due to address the meeting, ignoring the fact that as a member of Fine Gael, he probably knew a fair bit about fringe right wing parties with negligible elecotral support.

The statement ends praising 'Southern Ireland' or 'Eire' for being "the perfect example of how moral values and family life should be practiced" going on to say "Divorce and abortion are practically unheard of, crime is relatively non-existent" Clearly, well up on current events in Ireland then.
