On parts of the continent and in the UK, garden allotments are popular- if you live in a flat or don't have access to a garden it's a great way to grow your own veggies, get more self- sufficient and keep money out of the pockets of big supermarkets. Jump To Comment: 2 1just wondering if there has been any progress made on the garden allotments,with regards to the city council. I assume that the past is a guide to the future and assume not. As it turns out i was wondering if there was much interest in renting allotments myself,have 2 arces on the city boundary,that i plan to add to my organic plan with the department. DUBLIN City Council is considering opening up parks such as St Anne’s in Raheny in what appears to be a change of heart on the provision of allotments for the purpose of growing vegetables.
