This page will contain updates and tips on how to stay health and any known measures to boost the immune system and help prevent getting ill from Covid if you are in he vulnerable group.
The key advice though is to boost your immune system by taking Vitamin C and Zinc. Vitamin D which can be generated by your body's skin in sunshine is also very good and is well known to protect. Getting outdoors into fresh air and walking, hiking or swimming are all also excellent ways to improve your immunity. Eating good nutritious food rather than junk food is another important component of boosting your immune system. ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

This page holds videos of interest to help decipher what is going on politically and globally with the Covid crisis. As people know the world economy has been more or less put in lockdown and if you wanted to crash it then this is how you would do it. Also anyone paying attention to the numbers will realize the government are lying outright and talking up the numbers and grossly exaggerating how deadly it is. It is so far no worse than the flu which of course kills many each year The bio-weapon angle has come up multiple times and has gone as high as a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry saying that the virus was genetically created and was a bio-weapon of some kind. People at that level of officialdom don't say things like that without backing from people higher up the chain of command. ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

Sally Maaz (17) died in Mayo University Hospital on April 24. Her cousin speaks out in this video. What has happened here is criminal and requires investigation although this is unlikely to be done in any honest way given the blatant lies and propaganda around this Covid crisis. Sally was moved to the #COVIDー19 ward even though she tested NEGATIVE twice. 1/14 To bring to light the disgraceful story we are reporting the main part of the thread of this from twitter ... read full story / add a comment

The mainstream media is acting as a mouth organ for the WHO and the state. There is very little coverage that questions the whole narrative of the Covid-19 lock down and police state measures nor any question of why the country is committing economic suicide. The propaganda has been relentless and so effective and it appears few seem bothered that their jobs and livelihoods have been trashed. This story will contain links to what is happening elsewhere and the types of questions and answers that are appearing. This stuff should be front page on the mainstream media, but you do have to ask why not. If you know of any important related story please add as a comment or use contact form and it can be added. ... read full story / add a comment

A reactionary right wing coup has deposed Evo Morales, the left wing and self proclaimed socialist President of Bolivia, after 14 years of rule. This coup has been executed by the Bolivian armed forces and police in conjunction with the right wing opposition Citizens Community led by Carlos Mesa, probably with the backing, behind the scenes, of the far right Bolsonaro government in Brazil and the US State Department. ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

This blog entry from 16th Sept on the ShannonWatch.org website is reproduced here because while it might seem old news one week late, it will in fact be news to a lot of people since the mainstream just don't cover this, certainly not from the side of peace perspective. The following was written by Veteran for Peace activist Tarak Kauff who is currently being refused permission to leave Ireland. He is accused of minor offenses linked to the attempt he and Ken MAyers made to inspect a US contracted military plane at Shannon Airport. ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

As we draw towards the end of the hottest summer on record, the effects of climate change are becoming rapidly more evident. The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) has released a report outlining “serious and urgent concerns” regarding the state’s attitude towards the democratic right to protest. After consultations with protest groups from across the country, the ICCL reports “severe misuse” of the Public Order Act by Gardai, in the form of arrests without charge, harassment of protesters and imposing limits on where people can protest, seemingly in order to punish and discourage such action. ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

From 1 July, Irish Water is seeking to implement excessive-use water charges of up to €500 per year. This will come as no great surprise to those of us who highlighted the programme for government agreed between Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael back in 2016. The Socialist Party opposed and warned about this element of the legislation at the time, as we knew that is could be used as a back door to the re-introduction of full water charges in the future. The legislation allows the government to lower the amount of water that is considered normal usage over time. Just like with tuition fees and bin charges, the amounts will be increased incrementally until the idea of direct payment for water becomes normalised, or at least this is their hope. ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

I know, you may think I am deluded. How could life in an Embassy with a cat and a skateboard ever amount to torture? That’s exactly what I thought, too, when Assange first appealed to my office for protection. Like most of the public, I had been subconsciously poisoned by the relentless smear campaign, which had been disseminated over the years. So it took a second knock on my door to get my reluctant attention. But once I looked into the facts of this case, what I found filled me with repulsion and disbelief. ... read full story / add a comment

Irish Parliament (Dáil) votes 36-60 to reject a Sinn Féin bill which aimed to insert a constitutional right to housing.
This time last year we learnt that one in every five TDs (public representatives in the Irish Dáil [parliament]) – are actually landlords (“30 of Ireland’s 158 TDs are landlords. That includes at least four out of 15 of the current Cabinet.” Global Rights, May, 2018) “The question, of course that follows, in a country that seems to have an enormous problem with either controlling the housing (or any other) market (or property developers themselves, or the banks or other “powerful” groups within society): is there a conflict of interest? ... read full story / add a comment ![]()

It’s that time of year again, when politicians come knocking on doors looking for your vote. This May there will be European and Local elections in Ireland north and south. While domestic issues are, as always, likely to dominate the discussions, we believe it is vitally important that the issue of Palestine is kept firmly in the minds and mouths of all our politicians. The very essence of the Palestine solidarity movement is to ‘think globally, act locally’ – and we have seen impressive local support for Palestinian freedom by many local councils over the past decade. We need to make sure that Palestine is and remains an election issue! ... read full story / add a comment ![]()
