1st national conference to address poverty, economic inequality, social exclusion & multiple disadvantage in the LGBT community
The National Lesbian & Gay Federation (NLGF) - in conjunction with Dublin City Council Social Inclusion Unit and The Community Foundation for Ireland - invite you to attend the first national conference to address poverty and social exclusion in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgendered (LGBT) community. The event will explore how issues relating to poverty, economic inequality and multiple disadvantage impact upon LGBT people. The conference will also act as a platform for LGBT organisations and anti-poverty/community development organisations to discuss solutions to tackle poverty and inequality amongst LGBT people and promote social inclusion.
 NLGF Logo Keynote International Guest: Anna Grodzka, MP, Poland, transgender-rights & LGBT campaigner
Conference Audience: Community workers, anti-poverty and social inclusion workers/activists, trans-rights campaigners, disability rights campaigners, homeless campaigners, Traveller rights campaigners, positive ageing campaigners, LGBT migrants, members of the Polish community, students, policy makers, academics and anyone experiencing poverty or who is interested in the issues relating to LGBT people & social exclusion.
