Horrific stag hunting incident... On Tuesday, 19th February eye-witnesses clearly saw a deer, pursued by hounds of the Ward Union hunt, jumping into the River Boyne on a stretch where a search and recovery operation (for the body of a man who tragically drowned) was in progress. |

Jump To Comment: 1However slowly progress is being made in the battle against animal cruelty posing as "sport". The staghunt crowd, apart from the fact that their "sport" is is banned, have a major PR problem. Charging into a schoolyard, and now into the middle of a recovery team searching for a drowning victim. Has nobody coached them in the art of "I'm glad you asked me that question", etc? What am I saying...I don't want them white-washing their sick "pastime" either, because whatever the packaging, the content is still the same: sadistic torture of animals for the benefit of Celtic Tiger leftovers and assorted animal cruelty addicts.
One sided "sport"...
