Take the blindfolds off. International event reaches Dublin

category international | education | news report author Monday August 26, 2013 23:31author by Shay Leonauthor email dublin2408 at outlook dot com Report this post to the editors

On August 24, over 7000 activists marched, in 41 cities and 17 countries, for our fellow Earthlings.
The event called people to take their blindfolds off to animal suffering and the human toll dairy and meat has.

In Grafton street 40 people stood blindfolded near McDonald and Bernardo's Fur.

People love animals yet pay others to mutilate them
People talk about compassion while wrapping themselves in blankets filled with feathers plucked from living geese
People buy eco cars when the leading reason for pollution is the meat and dairy industries (U.N report)
People talk about love but pay others to separate calves from their mothers as soon as they are born (both the calves and the cows cry for weeks afterwards)
People care about healthy eating but are unaware that milk is directly linked to cancer and osteoporosis .

Last Saturday we asked people to take their blindfolds off and to see the holocaust we are a part off.
This holocaust not only kills and tortures 150 BILLION animals a year, it's also the main reason to HUMAN disease, suffering and death.

We set up a web site www.blindfoldsoff.com which has 3 of the most viral films on the subject:
*The most important documentary of all times - Earthlings which shows how we use animals in every day life.
*Dr. Greger's video based on the longest research into human health, involving 126,000 people. The research started in 1976 and shows without a doubt how dangerous a meat/dairy diet is.
* Gary Yourofsky's lecture in a fascinating speech blowing myths and lies about the meat, dairy, pharmaceutical companies and veganism.
