Invitation to the Galway Activist meeting on Saturday 31 October 2015 from 1 to 3pm in the Westside Resource Centre, Galway.
Invited are all activist / grassroots / community groups and organizations, as well as individuals.

Invitation to the Galway Activist Meeting on Sat 31st of October 2015 from 1 to 3pm in the Westside Resource Centre, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway.

The meeting will take place from 1 to 3pm and we will focus on getting to know each other, forming a personal basis for future networking. On top of that, we hope to draw some connections between issues we are working on, and establish methods of communication, hopefully working towards more meetings in the future and ever closer and better networking.
Having said that, the agenda has enough flexibility to adapt to your needs, as voiced before the meeting or as comes up during the meeting.

So far, thats the agenda:
1.00 - 1.30 welcoming, vegan snack potluck, socialising, filling flip-charts
1.30 - 1.50 introduction, activist speed dating
1.50 - 2.20 thematic discussions in small groups, based on the flip charts
2.20 - 2.30 break, reflection on discussions
2.30 - 3.00 establishing communication and agreeing on next steps

As you can see, we are planning to have a vegan snack potluck. So if you can, please bring some small vegan snacks along, so we can all enjoy some nice snacks.

Hope to see you there!
