ASBO attacks Hiphop Kulture Over the years Hiphop Kulture has constantly remained under attack by the main cultures of the world who fear the loss of control over the new emerging generations. From the early Emcees and Deejays who were arrested during the park jams to the early Breakers who too were arrested for dancing on the streets; to the new “Hiphop Task Forces” monitoring Hiphoppas in the same way they monitor street gangs; and the recent attempts by some countries to ban “repetitive beats” and the wearing of hoodies. Now in Ireland, politicians are continuing these attempts at suppressing the Elements of Hiphop Kulture by introducing the “Anti-Social Behaviour Orders” which will allow the Gardai (Ireland’s National Police Force) to conduct on-the-spot interrogations of youth who “look” suspect. That “look” may include the wearing of a hoodies. That “behaviour” can include some kids standing around Beatboxin’. And if these new laws are passed, the Gardai will have the authority to fine you on-the-spot.

that he Dutch Protection Rights Entertainment Industry Netherlands (BREIN) {an evil Hollywood front} lost its case this week against five Dutch ISPs who refused to hand over the names of 42 suspected song swappers. BREIN knew these individuals only by their IP address.
One of the ISPs was dutch eDonkey. Not like radical or anything. The court ruled that BREIN made a crucial mistake in collecting evidence against the individuals. BREIN hired US company Media Sentry, which monitors popular online forums and P2P services for copyright infringement and tracks unauthorised online distribution. Apparently the company only looked at shared folders of Kazaa, but these folders may also have contained files for personal use, the court argues. There is not enough proof that these particular files were uploaded.
The ruling isn't a full victory for the Dutch ISPs. The court argued that ISPs can be forced by law to hand over personal data. However, in order to do so BREIN would have to start all over again.
