Jump To Comment: 1I am very supportive of the nurses who do a very difficult job in very difficult environments. I hope they get all their demands.
But I am wondering why they had a minute's silence for a politician and ex-taoiseach who screwed the health service.
I am also wondering why the spokespeople for the INO are always men when the vast majority of nurses are women. It doesn't make sense statistically.
I am also wondering why the psychiatric nurses defend and sometimes participate in inhumane and cruel practices in mental health facilities (personally witnessed - physical abuse and bullying).
I support the nurses but I have these questions too.
