Simplistic linear thinking by Rachel from Accounts and the Treasury spawned this Budget from hell, says David Craig. A systems thinker would have known it would send the economy into a doom loop of recession and decline.

Shells HQ on Leeson street in Dublin has been occupied by activists protesting the give away of Ireland natural resources to this corporation depriving the health and education system of billions of euro worth of needed funds.

The lobby has been occupied and a banner hung from the roof. The audio file below is an interview with someone occupying the lobby. Its 1mb mp3 and around 2.5 minutes in duration

The occupation ended at 1.30 with the 10 occupiers leaving the building and the roof. There were no arrests, apparently the Gardai calmed down once some Gardai who were used to protests arrived on the scene.

Well done Dublin.
The Achilles Hell of the Bellanaboy Project is Statoil and the Norwegians' sense of fair play.
The Norwegian Embassy is in your back yard.
Need I say more?

I sick to the teeth of talk of norway being the loose link in the chain. The norgweigen government are not saints or socialists, if there's money to be made they'll stick to it.

From reading here and listening to the audio it's clear this action wasn't to do with the Shell To Sea campaign but rather to raise interest in the sell off of our natural resources.

author by mattpublication date Tue Mar 27, 2007 17:26author address author phone Report this post to the editors

addressing the sell off of irish resources is one of the aims of the shell to sea campaign, which would be one of the reasons that your namesake isn't too happy with the shell to sea campaign and his media outlets are so eager to see shell succeed

"The Norwegian Embassy is in your back yard."

^^^^^^^^^

they might be getting lonely around there, Shell HQ. is one step off putting couches in the lobby for S2S.

"Solidarity is strength"

Then I think these photos show how weak solidarity is for the dublin shell to sea campaigners............

For an entirely secret action organised with no advance publicity looks like they got 15-20 within an hour or two by the photos -
An excellent turn out and reflective of widespread support still to me!

More action lets take it to shell!
