news report
Sunday July 22, 2007 04:56 by Markham O Neill
On the 29th July 2007, an Irishman who recovered from a brain haemorrhage 22 years ago, is not going to achieve something remarkable, by completing a 5,000km walk for peace across Australia. He started from Perth in April the 2nd last year, and 15 months later he will reach the other side of this continent. Mr Frank Muldowney, embarked on an impossible mission, to create a wave of peace across a country as big as Australia. He wanted to do it with no financial support and no sponsorship, as he believes the message is more important than money. |

I have read the full web site, and this story is even more interesting than the press release. Irish eyes are smiling in Sydney

The Believing in Harvey is getting good publicity in Casnberra and NSW.
Touch of Irish humour - and cult type support by school kids.

Congratulations Frank, I was a Ms charity walker years ago, and it's great that you continued what you started with from humble beginnings. Well done.
Article in the Sydney local newspaper, covering the same story.

Fair play to ye Frank, I hope you get the credit from all the work you have done on this marathon journey.
The Irishman completed his 5,000km walk to Sydney yesterday, and now 1,000km more to end this Odyssey in Byron Bay
