Jump To Comment: 1 2 3I am in total agreement with the above. Our costal and rural communities are the back bone of the country. All to often the politicians who sit in Dublin fail to see that there is more to Ireland then its capital city.
Any group or party who makes out that solely by holding demonstrations and marches , participating in elections or lobbying is living in cuckoo land.
They have not the slightest chance of success.
Appealing to compassion from the political system is liking expecting compassion or justice from a lizard.
Congratulations to the fishermen for having the intelligence and the organisation to carry out their struggle.
What was most inspiring was those pictures of the blockade.
