Jump To Comment: 1Hi,
In case you are interested in our sister struggles across the pond. Letters of support for the first prisoner here are greatly appreciated!
The mass arrests of 818 protesters at the U.S. Republican National Convention (for Bush's would be successor McCain) resulted in many false charges. This was the last stand of U.S. Republican George Bush, and his old regime still lingers. Plea bargains were taken in some cases after hundreds of charges were dropped and others were added falsely. This RNC protester below has Irish roots, from Belfast to Cork. Keep up your great work! We are with you! While I was with groups of peaceful protesters against the wars and policies of Bush and others, I saw the hundreds rounded up daily. We are now watching our comrades and kids go to jail.
Thanks for your solidarity,
Maria
