The people march

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | news report author Friday November 06, 2009 17:17author by Liam Harnett - The People, the children Report this post to the editors

Let them eat cake mindset v. the masses

A psychiatric nurse married to a Garda and their combined incomes and savings of euros 15,000 and they can't buy a home in Dublin. Where is the common sense in the Irish economy.

Together we stand

I'm just back from O'Connell Street and Parnell Square.

There are between 7,000 to 9,000 people there and Well Done. Together is the way forward to fight these 'savage' proposed cuts.

Harney, Couglan on the radio a.m. are only singing off the old hymn sheet. My God, where do these people orbit from. They surely do not feel or share the pain of the masses. Just look to their free flights and junket holidays.

Come on the workers
