Assembly Minister for Culture promotes cultural apartheid The Northern Ireland Assembly Minister for Culture, Nelson McCausland, has accused the minority community in Portadown of pursuing a policy of ‘cultural apartheid’. This is a gross and insulting distortion of the facts. The International Criminal Court defined apartheid as being inhumane acts 'committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial group or groups and committed with the intention of maintaining that regime'. Jump To Comment: 1 2While Im not sure exactly WHICH of the "minority communities" in Portadown Mr McCausland has in mind (presumably though not the "minority community" of Parade enthusiasts) perhaps it is not so much an issue with the "minority community" in question but their "representatives" ?
When they lost the power to gerrmander what they thought were suitable representatives, they set about criminalizing those we elected. I wonder does the Judean Popular Peoples Front have the same problems with democracy ?
