Super Flu? More Like Super Hype Sun Dec 14, 2025 13:05 | Dr David Livermore
Present case numbers for the ?K? variant Super-Flu don't justify the hype, says Dr David Livermore. Perhaps it's the media lust for fear porn, or perhaps the Government's fear of the strike, but it's not a Super-crisis.

Gerry was due to appear in court in Belfast today. However, just moments before
he left home for the 50 mile drive, he received a phonecall to say that
the court officers had made a "mistake" and overbooked the day's schedule.
Although, Gerry's appearance was arranged a month ago, this "mistake" means that
there is yet another delay in the proceedings of this more than three year long
saga on charges going back 35 years.
Observers believe that one of the goals of the British-Unionist-Sinn Féin axis
in this case is to keep Gerry McGeough tied down in this "legal" quagmire for as
long as possible in order to keep him politically inactive.
BOO-HOO! Ireland's only fascist of note (where has Justin Barrett gone?) has been inconvenienced by the NI courts service, he'd be out vilifying Protestants, Jews, liberals and gay people if it wasn't for the dreadful PSNI, what a shame!
General Eoin O'Duffy of Cumann na nGael was Ireland's first noted fascist. He wore a uniform in public parades and so did his popular followers. He died peacefully in 1944. Another noted Irishman attracted to fascist ideas (for a time at any rate) was the poet WB Yeats, but he never wore a uniform and didn't join O'Duffy's parades.
I don't know if McGeogh has ever wore a uniform. I glanced at a couple of issues of his weird Celtic nationalist magazine The Hibernian, now happily defunct for want of interested readers. The articles suggested a mishmash of garbled ethnocentric culture and historical hagigography rather than organized fascism.
I doubt whether Big Ears Justin Barret of Youth Defence ever wore a uniform more radical than an altar boy smock and dress.
You seem to think that wearing or not wearing a uniform is the qualifying criterion for whether or not somebody is a fascist, lol! Does this mean that Dublin Bus drivers and postal workers are fascists and Nick Griffin is not?
Clearly, the real way of judging whether someone is a fascist or not is by examining the views they espouse, Mr. McGeough's affiliation with a right-wing clerical-fascist publication called 'The Hibernian' and his condemnation of Sinn Fein for moving towards an equal rights agenda is surer evidence of his extreme right wing views rather than whether he ever wore a boy scout uniform or not!
I'd imagine Gerry and Eoin O'Duffy would find much to agree about in the kind of Ireland they'd like to see (no divorce, LGBT members of society well hidden), dig up Cardinal JC McQuaid and it'd be a real love-in!
17,578-Gerry Adam's margin of victory in West Belfast. The people have spoken; they have answered Gerry McGeough, Ed Moloney, and Anthony McIntyre. 'Nuff said.
Over on Politics ie a certain poster going by the name Angel Interceptor attacked Anthony and his wife quite viciously even letting slip that certain youths who paint post boxs green put crap in the wrong letter box.
Is a puffin really a seabird I wonder?
Interesting stuff from here on http://www.politics.ie/northern-ireland/129761-sinn-fei....html
Ed Moloney has said that he knows who made the threats against Anthony McIntyre and that if McIntyre is harmed he will reveal their names.
