Both Turkey and Iran have accused Israel of state terror against the activists on the high seas. From a Kurdish point of view I salute the brave peace activists and I sympathize with the situation of the Palestinian people in the face of oppression by the Israeli state. Yet we cannot forget that both Turkey and Iran continue to commit atrocities against the Kurdish population. read full story / add a comment ![]()

![]() Is this attack on an Aid ship Israel's taking advantage of an erstwhile preoccupied and unfortunate American President ? Or is it just more of Israel doing what Israel does best ..taking murderous and disproportionate action against civilians to further subjugate the Palestinian people - and doing all of this under the pre configured ideation imprinted on the Israeli mind that Europe 'owes' her because of the Holocaust - and therefore whatever would be deemed unacceptable by another country is Ok for Israel ? read full story / add a comment

Here is the TSV on Sunday. We are told that destruction will not happen in this valley anymore, we are told that our heritage is safe but my walk yesterday shows that things have simply got worse. Please become involved and stop the rape of our old green land. It is reaching appoint that soon it will be too late. We look set to lose all our old mysterious, wild and fallow places. read full story / add a comment

Joe Duffy invited two protesters, Holly, and Leah, who were at the protest at the Dáil on Tuesday the 18th of May, on to his Radio show on RTE. These two protesters were contacted because they had been wearing fake blood, in an attempt to highlight that the Gardaí had taken quite violent action, including bludgeoning protesters with steel batons, against people who were fighting against public service cuts - indeed fighting against the very cuts that the Gardaí themselves will suffer. read full story / add a comment

The proletariat provides the socio-ontological conditions for emancipation from ideology and exploitation. This is based on the proletariat’s unique relationship to the production process as source of wealth, value and capital–the very material basis for the existence of capitalist society. This peculiar oppression of the proletariat is what gives it its truth conditioning property. read full story / add a comment

The current 'Gulf Spill' is only one of scores of such disasters in recent decades. The same pattern of reckless failures; drip release of information; cover-up and collusion between operators and statutory agencies is evident throughout. Protesters are invariably vilified or criminalized so that attention may be directed away from the really criminal irresponsibility. Read the following quotes from highly credible sources and remember Pat's 100 days in jail today. read full story / add a comment
