LASC (Latin America Solidarity Centre) and The Happy Pear would like to invite you to the Launch of our Photo Exhibition "Food Sovereignty and Youth". The launch takes place in The Happy Pear, Church Road, Greystones on Monday 20th June from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. The exhibition - comprised of a variety of photographs from both Latin America and Ireland - previously ran as part of Latin America Week (LAW) 2011 in Cornucopia and was a great success. read full story / add a comment

The first in our autumn/winter programme of awareness raising evenings, Transition Town Donard-Glen will be screening 'End of Suburbia' in Donard hall. The film will be followed by a talk on peak oil with local geologist, Jerome Kelly (Tullow Oil).
