National Demonstration Against Our Corrupt Government -Keep the Pressure on!

category dublin | bin tax / household tax / water tax | event notice author Thursday June 02, 2016 22:59author by Dublin Says No - Dublin Says No Report this post to the editors

Sat June 18th - Meeting Points Connolly Station and Heuston Station

Dublin Says No...We are the ordinary people of Ireland. We have taken it upon ourselves to march weekly in unity with many other communities.. All welcome.

Sat June 18th - Meeting Points Connolly Station (Dublin North) and Heuston Station (Dublin South) at 1pm
March to the GPO.

"We Shall Rise Again" -James Connolly 1916. We need to do it again in 2016
demo_june18_2016_dublin_says_no.jpg

The government isn’t interested in doing the right thing: rather, the budget for 2016 is calculated to strengthen Fine Gael’s support base among the rich by ensuring that their wealth remains untouched. After five years of Fine Gael and Labour in office, the top 20% in this state now own 73% of the wealth; the top 300 individuals’ personal wealth increased by €13.5 billion in 2014 alone.
And yet, there is not even the slightest hint of a wealth tax included in the budget for 2016, despite it being the norm in countries such as Germany and France. For the majority of people, the budget merely offers to return some of the entitlements we have been robbed of in exchange for five more years of hardship.
This is cynical in the extreme, and ought to be rejected by anyone with eyes to see..We are the ordinary people of Ireland.
We have taken it upon ourselves to march weekly in unity with many other communities across the country, in order to show the Government of Ireland that we 'The People' will resist.......
The last Saturday of each month we will be travelling to a county city centre to support other groups and community's in there home town if you would like us to come support a march in your county contact us through your local says no page and we would be more than happy too join yes.....
We need to keep the pressure on the politicos and our corrupted government and let them know we wont go away only feet on the street regularly and not every six months will achieve anything unless all groups come together and stand together we can not win and let them know that........
We will resist the imposition of this water tax/charge (this will be a second charge for water as we already pay for it through taxes) and we will resist the installation of water meters.

We will resist T.T.I.P
We will resist Austerity.
We will resist Evictions.
We will resist Bank Bail-Outs.
We will resist Natural Resources sell-Offs.
We will resist Media Bias.
We will resist Government & Banking Corruption, Incompetence, Nepotism, Greed, Lies, Miss-Management, Political Elitism.

We want a better future for ourselves, our children, grandchildren...
We want a new political system - by the people, for the people.

We encourage anyone and everyone, no matter what your own political views are, to join us for the first of demos Every two months in a peoples peacefull assembly. Saturday.. /.. /.. meeting Connolly station northside... Heuston station south side and marching to the GPO
