On parts of the continent and in the UK, garden allotments are popular- if you live in a flat or don't have access to a garden it's a great way to grow your own veggies, get more self- sufficient and keep money out of the pockets of big supermarkets. DUBLIN City Council is considering opening up parks such as St Anne’s in Raheny in what appears to be a change of heart on the provision of allotments for the purpose of growing vegetables.

just wondering if there has been any progress made on the garden allotments,with regards to the city council. I assume that the past is a guide to the future and assume not. As it turns out i was wondering if there was much interest in renting allotments myself,have 2 arces on the city boundary,that i plan to add to my organic plan with the department.
