Every year the bin tax campaign holds a protest outside Dublin City Council for the Estimates meeting which decides the budgetary spending for the following year within the DCC area. 2008 saw a similar lively protest with residents from Cabra, Drimnagh, Ballyfermot, Inchicore to name but a few. Sinn Féin were also represented with a number of councillors present.
