"Herr Merklers" taste of honey for Europe German police smash anti-cuts demo as parliament passes austerity bill Today we have witnessed how the rulers of Europe plan to deal with austerity protests. This morning the majority of the German federal parliament in the capital Berlin, the Bundestag, has passed a new household bill to "fight the crisis" - which in effect means hitting the most poor in society, the ill and the handycapped, and diverting the money into the bankers pockets, - just as the Irish government is set to do. |
